Christian Action and Community Service (CACS)

Chair: Ann Boston

Needs: Volunteers for all projects and for CACS planning.

Activities:

• Wilmington Interfaith Hospitality Network – We host 4 times per year (volunteers needed for meals, hosts and other tasks).
  
  
• Food Pantry – food bags provided to the Department of Social Services bi-weekly for families in need, includes the Little Red Wagon food ministry effort.
  
  
• Crop Walk – walk to raise money to supply food to the hungry in Wilmington and the world.
  
  
• Thanksgiving Baskets - food for Guardian ad Litem families.
  
  
• Habitat for Humanity – helping to build homes for those in need.
  
  
• WARM – local building renovation ministry for those in need.
  
  
• Woodlot - chop and deliver wood to families in need.
  
  
• United Christian Campus Ministry - provides financial support (through the church budget) for the campus ministry at UNC Wilmington and Cape Fear Community College.
