Disciples Mission Fund
First Christian allocates 10% of its budget to the Disciples Mission Fund, the common fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Disciples Mission Fund then distributes gifts to Regional ministries, General Ministries, institutes of higher learning, and other ministries.  Our giving to Disciples Mission Fund connects us to the local, national, and global ministries of our church.


Week of Compassion
Week of Compassion is the relief, refugee and development mission fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada. It equips and empowers disciples to alleviate the suffering of others through disaster response, humanitarian aid, sustainable development and the promotion of mission opportunities.  Each February, First Christian receives a special over-and-above offering for Week of Compassion.
