After having lived and worked for most of my life overseas, I decided to move to the United States at the end of 1991, and was fortunate to find employment in Wilmington the following summer in the Legal Department at aaiPharma.  It began as a temporary  assignment, but when that ended, I stayed on as Administrative Assistant to the Associate General Counsel, and then to the Patent Attorney.  I worked at aaiPharma until 1999, and came to work here at First Christian Church in 2000. In the intervening years, Wilmington has become my home town. I can now answer the question, "Where are you from?" without a lengthy explanation.

Among other things, I enjoy bird watching in and around Wilmington, traveling, reading, working in my yard (except in July and August!), and spending time with my parents who have retired to Wilmington.
