Disciples Women’s Ministries (DWM)

Disciples Women’s Ministries (DWM) is a ministry for women of the church, led by women of the church. Our purpose is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education, and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the Church of Jesus Christ. This is also an wonderful opportunity to build new relationships within the church.

The DWM is involved in many different service projects and outreach. These projects include, but are not limited to: Council of Evangelical Churches of Columbia (our global partner), Woman-To-Woman (we send a woman to a country to do a mission study), Blessing Boxes, Inman Christian Center, Campbell soup label collection to help Christmount (the Disciples of Christ retreat in Black Mountain, North Carolina), Camp Agape at Camp Caroline in Arapahoe North Carolina, Hospice “Meals of Love”, Samaritan’s Purse, Salvation Army Christmas stockings, and Valentine goody boxes for all college students of the church.

Circle meetings (small groups) are held monthly and all women are invited to participate in those. Circle Martha meets the first Tuesday evening of the month at 6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. Circle Mary meets the first Wednesday morning of the month at 10:30am in the Parlor.
